Neal's Yard Beauty Sleep Body Butter

Sweet dreams...

I picked this up in the Neal's Yard in Oxford on my last visit. I can't resist their shops, with essential oil diffusers perfuming the air, and complementary herbal tea which you can help yourself to while you browse around. I always want just about everything, and trying to choose took me forever! But eventually I settled on this Beauty Sleep Body Butter, which is designed to soothe both your mind and your skin with a blend of calming organic essential oils and butters.

The body butter comes in a generously sized pot, so although it costs £23 you do get a lot of product. I love to apply this after a soak in the bath; it sinks into your skin quickly without feeling at all sticky, and makes the perfect end to an evening's pampering session.

I love the idea of a body butter which helps you to drift off, while also beautifying and softening your skin overnight. The scent is gorgeously relaxing, and you wake up the next morning with smooth, moisturised skin that stays that way for days afterwards. I'm terrible at remembering to moisturise, so using this every few days or so works really well for me!

Before, I would have hesitated to pay out this kind of money for a body butter, as I see it as more of a staple product. But after using this, I can really see the value of spending on quality! Cheaper moisturisers have only tended to keep my skin moisturised for a day or so, but hydrates my skin at a much deeper level, and I can already see and feel the effects.

What's your favourite Neal's Yard product?
