Lilac Berry Smoothie

There's a lot of cake around my house at the moment (even more than usual, which is saying something) so I figured I'd better balance out all the sugar with something fantastically healthy. I love smoothies; they're a delicious way to get a vitamin boost. Within no time your skin's glowing and
you feel amazing! I tend not to go by recipes, instead throwing in whatever fruit is around my kitchen at the time. Here's the concoction I made earlier- it's one of the best I've done!

You will need:
1 banana
a couple of handfuls of blueberries
a handful of raspberries
a splash of coconut water (if you don't have this, try orange juice, almond milk or even filtered water)
a scoop of protein powder (optional-I use Pulsin' Soya Protein Powder, which you can get from Holland and Barrett- here's the link)

Simply place all the ingredients into a blender and voila! Add more or less coconut water depending on how many you want it to serve. The basic recipe will yield either one large glass or two smaller servings.
